Haringhata Egg is currently a well known brand of table eggs in the market. The eggs that are also a big source of immunity boost are produced at the Kalyani Layer Farm of W.B.L.D.C. Ltd., before being packaged, marketed and sold all over West Bengal.

The Kalyani Layer Farm was established by W.B.L.D.C. Ltd. in the year 2017-18 under the RKVY schemes. It was set up with an aim to bridge the critical gap between demand and supply of Table Eggs in the state.
