Jotikali Broiler Breeding Farm:

Dream project of The ARD Department of Govt. of West Bengal

• Broiler Chicks are supplied to selected beneficiaries across North and South Bengal for rearing
• Feed, medicine, vaccine and rearing changes are borne by the W.B.L.D.C. Ltd.
• Capacity of 70,00,000 day-old chicks per year

Kalyani Duck Breeding Farm:

• Bridging the gap of demands of duck eggs in West Bengal
• Production capacity of 5,00,000 Khaki Campbell & Pekin breed day-old ducklings per year

Haringhata Goat Farm:

• Animals raised in large climate controlled ventilated farms by farmers trained in Animal Welfare
• Free from added hormones and other steroids
• Monitored by registered veterinarians

Pig Breeding Farms:

W.B.L.D.C. Ltd. currently owns and operates two pig breeding farms to meet the demand of high quality pork in West Bengal:

• Mohitnagar Pig Breeding Farm, Jalpaiguri – Established in 2017
• Haringhata Pig Breeding Farm – Acquired and modernized in 2018
• Activities include breeding, rearing and fattening of pigs
• Under controlled supervision of technician and qualified veterinary doctors

Output from these farms are also supplied to rural marginal pig farmers through government distribution schemes, to uplift rural economy.
