Vanaraja chicken is a dual purpose poultry breed mainly reared in the Jangalmahal area of West Bengal by small and marginal farmers for their prolific meat and egg production. Meat obtained from it is very much lean and tasty, hence liked extremely by the non-vegetarian people.
? Cook as like broiler chicken except that after the meat and other ingredients are sautéed together, it may take a little bit more time under pressure cooker / covered container to cook completely.
? A 30 minutes marinating with raw papaya paste along with other marinades may improve the texture of the final product.
